Alex: Man its as cold as a well diggers butt hole outside

Craig: Haha really Alex? How would you know what that feels like?

Kayla: Hey guys! Whats up?

Craig: Not a lot since 2 minutes ago when you were with us. Haha

Kayla: Oh ok, well do you guys wanna sit? Or just stand there

Jake: Oh hey guys sorry I was zoning out Haha

Craig: I noticed, so what were you guys doin before we got here?

Kayla: Sitting, and waiting for you guys.

Alex: Oh ya I forgot we are the party aren’t we haha

Craig: Oh ya almost forgot

Jake: I’m hungry lets go get something to eat

Alex: In a lil bit Jake. Can’t you wait?

Jake: Noooo im a hungry hungry man!

Alex: Ok well wait a sec

Craig: Alright well are you guys excited to go out again

Kayla: Yes!!! This is so much fun!

Craig: I agree. How about you Jake?

Jake: I’m gonna eat this table that’s what I think!

Craig: Ok? Well I guess Jake is non responsive until he gets his food haha

Jake: Well no duh its like wanting a pencil to work without an eraser

(Craig, Alex, Kayla all just stare at Jake)

Alex: What does that even mean?

Jake: I don’t know, I just thought it up and threw it out there

Alex: Well you shouldn’t say that ever again

Craig: Ok. Well on a new subject Jake you wanna go get some food?

Jake: YES! Lets go

(Jake and Craig go get food. Kayla and Alex stay sitting)

Kayla: So should we ask him?

Alex: Yea, I think so. Its been bugging me for awhile

Kayla: Do you think he’ll let us ask?

Alex: I don’t know, but we have to try

Kayla: Ya well who’s gonna start?

Alex: You can ill follow you up

Kayla: Ok hold on let me text Jake tell him were gonna do it

Alex: Alright

Kayla: I hope it goes well

Alex: Yea me too

Kayla: I loved his mom

Alex: Me too

(In walk Jake and Craig)

Craig: That was pretty good wasn’t it?

Jake: Yes thank you for coming with

Craig: Ha anytime bud

Alex: Hey guys welcome back

Craig: Thank you good sir. You guys wanna go back out soon?

Alex: In a lil bit

(Craig and Jake sit. Akward silence)

Kayla: Ok well Craig we gotta talk about something

Craig: Alright, well whats it about?

Kayla: Ok well ever since your mom passed you seem to have pretty much forgotten about her.

Its like “we” don’t understand how you can just forget

Craig: You think I forgot about her? How could I do that when I stood over her dead body and had to tell her goodbye? Even though the last time I talked to her I told her I hated her? Tell me how could I forget something like that?

Kayla: Oh…

Craig: I had so much hate inside me when it happened. The knowing that the last thing you told your mom wasn’t I love you, it was I hate you. Tell me how I can forgive myself for that?

Alex: Craig, why didn’t you tell us earlier? Were all your best friends and were here to help

Craig: Yea I know… but I didn’t want to burden you guys with this

Jake: Craig how is it a burden to help a best friend get over a loss?

Craig: I don’t know.. I shoulda told you guys

Alex: You look like you have more to say

Craig: Because I do, so when I went into the waiting room after telling her bye, her best friend comes up to me and tells me the last thing she told her before she went into surgery…

(Craig gets emotional)

She told her to tell her oldest on that she loves him and she doesn’t care what I say she’ll always love me. I was crushed. I didn’t deserve to be loved like that.

Kayla: Craig your mom was my best friend, and she told me how much she loved you all the time. You were her first born and you were her first baby boy

Alex: Craig, She knows you loved her. That’s what she will remember you for. The good times not the bad. Craig you have to tell us these things, we’ll help you

Craig: Yea, I see that now. Thanks guys you’re the best

Jake: Wait I have something to say

(Alex, Craig, and Kayla all look at Jake)

Jake: Craig your mom was a great woman and you cant blame yourself for saying what you said, It happens. But what you can do is help her by taking care of your brothers, and helping your dad through this. Its gonna be just as hard for him as it is for you. Its your chance to make things right Craig are you gonna do it? Or not.

Craig: Wow, thanks Jake I needed that

Kayla: Ok guys come her group hug

Alex: Oh your squishing my pelvis

Craig: Shut up Alex

Jake: Man im hungry

Alex: You can wait Jake haha

Kayla: Do you guys wanna go back out?

All the Guys: Yes!!!!!!

Kayla: Alright lets kick it

( Jake and Alex walk off stage, Kayla and Craig stay)

Craig: Kayla wait, My mom loved you like her daughter she never got. And I just wanted you to know she left you a note to read

Kayla: Thanks Craig, I love you bud
